Spring Cleaning

Been busy washing everything and anything I can find at home...the curtains, bedsheets, windows, toilet, Ashton's toys etc....wahhaa...really fully utilise my time at home...very fulfilling indeed!!!

A new beginning...Happy New Year!!!!

wat to begin with??hmmm....2008 been a very good year to me, bringing me closer to my family and loved ones...a healthy baby boy, getting my dream job, meeting ppl from all walks of life and a retrenchment package....hopefullly, year 2009 will be another fantastic year for me!!!!which I really doubt so....God bless me!!!!hee...

My laptop die on me again.....sigh.....so updates will be super back-dated...have so many photos to share on xmas and new year.....dun know where is my cardreader so cant upload the photos to my pc, hence no photos....sianz!!!!

Brought Ashton for his final dose of pneumoccal jab and chickenpox jab on 18 Dec...signed up their 3in1 package for the MMR as well...
Ashton is 10.9kg / 77cm tall as of 18 Dec 08....hee...Dr Lim say his progress is rather good, he know how to say mummum, daddad, kaikai very clearly now, he's walking rather steady too...so everything is good....

As of last week, AShton know how to say xie xie after u pass him his toy...so proud of him....hee....I'm a happy mum!!!!!

Been doing xmas shopping and buying CNY stuff for Ashton and myself over the last few days... think I need to find a job soon or else i have to munch on bread (hubby say grass!!!)for the next few months....wahaa

Updates on the Procastinator - Me

Been staying at home for the last few weeks and doing nothing....sigh....have plans to do this and that but always too lazy to start...sigh....how??hee....let me rest another couple of days and start next mon...hee...the cycle goes on and on.....

Ashton's 1st Actual bthday at Rasa Sentosa

Booked 2 rooms (1 for sis and family and 1 for us, thanks to sis's corporate rate) at Rasa Sentosa to celebrate Ashton's 1st bday by bringing him ard sentosa...been long long time since we been there and so many changes...sad to say we din really explore much of the place due to couple of reasons. FIrstly, the rain and 2ndly, all the adults want to stay in the hotel room to play cards....hee...overall, still enjoyable cos brought the kids to the Underwater World and dolphin lagoon...not forgetting bringing the kids for a swim at the pool....Ashton loved to swim!!!!will try to bring him to the swimming pool more often now since not working liao....wahaa.
Thanks to my dear frd who bought us lunch and her camera, as usual, my camera super low batt and charger again down on us....some photos to share...and waiting more photos of underwater world from my sis's camera...

Ashton's Lunar Bday Celebration

A very last min arrangement to celebrate Ashton's lunar bday at home...A family gathering with sil and kids over for Ashton's lunar bday...mil cooked mee sua soup and red eggs and we bought the red baos to celebrate the BIG day for Ashton...followed by the traditional custom of giving him 6 items to choose from to determine his future??!!??hee...Ashton get to choose from the following 6 items: book, calculator, money, pen, measuring tape and food....guess his 1st pick???

Be bringing Ashton to Kindermusik this fri for his trial class, hope he will enjoy...hee...I'm having tai tai lifestyle as of now....back to work force hopefully by Jan next year...Wish me luck!!!
